Safety Inspections.

Stoney Creek Construction Inc., provides a variety of inspections that can be done individually or combined to save time and money.

  • Fire Safety Inspection

Our fire safety inspection was set up with today’s busy family in mind. We understand with work, kids, school, sports and activities it’s hard to take the time routinely to do a thorough inspection of electrical wires, smoke/fire detectors, windows, locks and doors.

Fire Safety Inspection Includes:

A visual inspection of all exposed wires for hazards.

Check all doors and windows for ease of movement.

Test all smoke/fire alarms and replace up to 5 batteries.

  • Radon Inspection

Radon is a dangerous naturally occurring gas that seeps out of rocks and soil. Radon comes from uranium that has been in the ground since the time the earth was formed.

Our Radon inspection includes setting up test locations in the home, collecting test data and providing laboratory results within 7 days.

  • Foundation Inspection

A failing foundation can lead to cracked walls, uneven floors, roofing problems and a variety of other costly issues depending on the severity of the foundation problem.

The foundation inspection includes a visual inspection of footers and piers to check for stress cracks, water damage, tree root damage and undermining by rodents.

  • Termite Inspection

A huge problem that is common for almost all homes is the fact that they are susceptible to termites. Termites have the ability to reduce a home to sawdust in a remarkably short period of time.

The termite inspection includes a visual inspection for any signs of termites and damages.

  • Lead Paint Inspection

Ingesting or breathing dust from lead paint or fumes from burning materials that contain lead paint can result in lead poisoning and cause serious health problems. Before any renovations in homes built prior to 1980 it is wise to test for lead paint first.

The lead paint inspection includes a visual inspection and testing of any suspect paint.
